.... to my newly relaunched blog!
I didn't make any New Year resolutions but I did make a series of decisions, one of them being to be a bit more serious about my craft and art work, to open an Etsy shop, to have a CK Originals Facebook page (do pop by and say hello!), to attend craft fairs locally and perhaps in Glasgow though I need to go on some fact finding missions first, and to relaunch this blog which has been very neglected for a couple of years.
So to start with I thought I would set out my stall with a seasonal collection of scented hearts and cards in time for Valentines day (hence the hearts background it won't be like this all the time!)

Tweed & Twine
For when your heart is in the country.
Pure wool tweed and tartan hearts trimmed with jute twine and vintage buttons. Stuffed with cotton kapok and a hand ground blend of warming spices - cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Send your love all the Pieces of your heart
With a prettily patch worked cotton hearts, backed in stripy blue and white, trimmed with blue jute twine and filled with rose petals and lavender. (Each one is different, but similar!)

Nautical Lines
Do you love a sailor? Blue and white cotton hearts trimmed with knotted white cotton cord and coordinating buttons, then filled with lavender.

Gorgeous Ginghams
I've used pretty country style gingham cottons trimmed with cotton tape or jute twine and vintage buttons, each heart is packed with rose petals and lavender.

Say it with Flowers
Vintage flowers, filled with scented lavender these hearts have been made from hand embroidered vintage linen and finished with small mother of pearl buttons. Perfect for tucking in to a drawer.

Twin hearts in vintage white damask, filled with rose petals and lavender and trimmed with ribbon and vintage mother of pearl buttons.

Fleecy barley filled hearts for warming your loved ones hands. Simply pop them in the microwave for a moment before tucking in to gloves or pockets.
